Our vision of greatness is simple yet takes a great deal to achieve – we want to partake in the ultimate expression of the varietal. We believe life is way too short to settle for less. We scour the vineyards, cellars, custom crush facilities and myriads of tastings with only one goal in mind – ferreting crème de la crème of the winemaking world. Our criteria is based upon the qualitative aspects of winemaking, wines showcasing character, balance and intense palatal presence, flawlessly crafted with a hefty dosage of raw talent and intuition as well as obscene level of passion. In a nutshell we have to want to drink the stuff on a deserted island for the rest of our lives if need be. We are not impressed by the sole mention of the vineyard site, clonal selection or a famous wine personality attached to the project. Show us the juice. Should it meet the criteria (otherwise known as induction of pleasure glow) we are a dedicated follower and will strive to bring it to the attention of you, our valued audience, immediately if not sooner.
